Caught between the lights

This has been one of those cyclical pieces I’ve revisited more than once. It started in 2019 when I first discovered acrylic frames, and slowly evolved in 2020 and 2021 as I got more fluid with materials, colors, and collaging. 

I love abstract pieces because it gives color full authority over the experience and because it taps into our imagination. It still is my favorite way to study color.
