El Agua Entre Nos (The Water Between Us)

This piece was painted after an influential and inspiring trip to Tulum, Mexico at the beginning of 2020. "El Agua Entre Nos" was informed by several sunrises Gabriela Gil witnessed by the ocean. Nature has been an important source of inspiration for her colors; however, in this painting she was most inspired by the feelings of stillness and anticipation.
